Stevenage travel guide
The Lamex Stadium is about a mile south of Stevenage station. The walk is straightforward, but official parking is very limited and the retail parks and grass verges around Broadhall Way are enforced.
Stevenage has fast services from London King's Cross and connections from Cambridge, Peterborough and the north. The Lamex is roughly a mile from the station and the walk normally takes 25-30 minutes.
Leave towards the town centre and follow the signed route south. Allow more time at full-time and check the last return for evening matches.
Local buses link the bus station and town centre with Broadhall Way, but frequencies vary in evenings and on Sundays. A taxi is a short alternative from the station.
Away coaches follow match-specific instructions and may use a controlled stadium-side set-down point. Operators should confirm access with the visiting club.
Leave the A1(M) at Junction 7 and follow the A602 towards Stevenage before joining Broadhall Way. The final roundabouts and retail-park roads become congested close to kick-off.
Do not park on retail parks, grass verges or restricted residential streets. Enforcement is active and matchday use is not covered by ordinary shopping limits.
