Getting there & parking

Bramall Lane is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Sheffield United states that general supporter parking is not available at the ground. A small number of accessible away bays exist but must be reserved through the relevant club channels before the fixture.

Use a city-centre multi-storey or a fixture-specific pre-booked site such as Sheffield College when offered. Check the operator, access window and closing time; old informal car-park prices should not be treated as current.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Sheffield. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Sheffield station is roughly a 15-20 minute walk from Bramall Lane, mostly uphill through the city centre or along Shoreham Street. The bus interchange is slightly closer, and central tram stops are useful for hotels but do not remove the final walk.

By bus or coach

Check the current local timetable for the final leg to Bramall Lane. Away coaches and minibuses should follow the instructions issued by the visiting club and must not assume a public parking bay.

Driving

Most drivers leave the M1 at Junction 33 and follow the A630 and A61 into Sheffield. Bramall Lane and surrounding streets are controlled around matches, with pay-and-display, residents' bays and post-match closures making an unbooked stadium approach risky.

Use S2 4SU only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Bramall Lane to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 28 September 2026.
