Getting there & parking

Scarborough Sports Village is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Current 2026/27 visitor information says the free Sports Village car park holds more than 200 cars and is the recommended option. It is shared with the leisure centre and can fill, so arrive early and follow stewards.

Parking arrangements are operational rather than guaranteed with every ticket. Larger crowds, swimming events or coach movements can change the available bays and the exit route.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Scarborough. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Scarborough is the rail terminus and the ground is roughly a mile south. A direct walk via Falsgrave, Valley Road and Ashburn Road takes about 20-25 minutes; allow longer for a busy fixture or limited mobility.

By bus or coach

Local services use Falsgrave Road and Seamer Road, with a final walk into the Sports Village. Check the current operator timetable rather than assuming the connection will suit full-time. Supporter coaches should follow the drop-off instructions issued with the fixture.

Driving

Approach Scarborough on the A64, continue towards Seamer Road and follow Sports Village signs for Ashburn Road. Do not rely on nearby residential streets; use the sports-complex parking and stewarded route when available.

Use YO11 2JW only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Scarborough Sports Village to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 4 October 2026.
