Notts County travel guide

Getting there & parking

Meadow Lane is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Notts County does not advertise a dependable turn-up supporter car park inside the stadium footprint. Limited accessible spaces must be arranged in advance, while event parking around the Cattle Market or opposite Meadow Lane is separately operated and subject to each fixture.

Queen's Road and other city-centre car parks provide legitimate alternatives within walking distance. Check prices, closing times and event restrictions on the day rather than relying on an old matchday tariff.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Nottingham. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Nottingham station is about a 10-minute walk from Meadow Lane. Leave by the south side for Queen's Road or follow signs towards London Road and the stadium; rail and tram services are usually a more predictable option than driving into the riverside matchday traffic.

By bus or coach

Check the current local timetable for the final leg to Meadow Lane. Away coaches and minibuses should follow the instructions issued by the visiting club and must not assume a public parking bay.

Driving

From the south and west, approaches use the A52 and A453; from the north, the A60 leads towards London Road. Meadow Lane, County Road and the Cattle Market area become busy around kick-off, so use the entrance attached to the booked car park rather than circling the stadium.

Use NG2 3HJ only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Meadow Lane to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 28 September 2026.
