Getting there & parking

Leasing.com Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Macclesfield's current visitor guidance says there is no general supporter parking inside the stadium and describes spaces as extremely limited. The club's general first-time guide confirms a small car park behind the South Stand, but that is not a promise of visiting access.

Use only a space named in the live fixture instructions. Lyme Avenue has been suggested in current visiting guidance, but it is public road parking rather than a guaranteed official facility; obey restrictions and residents. Accessible bays, coaches and minibuses must be arranged in advance.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Macclesfield. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Macclesfield station is roughly one mile from the ground. Allow 25-30 minutes for the walk through the town and down London Road; older guides sometimes understate it. Check engineering work and the return service before travel.

By bus or coach

The number 9 service runs from Macclesfield bus station towards the stadium corridor, normally every 20 minutes on Saturdays. Confirm the live stop, direction and evening timetable. Visiting coaches must follow the drop-off and parking arrangement issued for the fixture.

Driving

The stadium is on the A523 London Road south of the centre. Approaches commonly use the M6 at Junction 17 with the A534 and A536, or Junction 19 and the A537 from the north. The small site car park and surrounding roads fill early, so drive only with a settled parking plan.

Use SK11 7SP only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Leasing.com Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 3 October 2026.
