Make a day of it
Brisbane Road is best approached from Leyton Underground. Stratford gives the widest choice of food, hotels and transport before the one-stop Central line journey.
Use Leytonstone or the Birkbeck Tavern route, then walk to the East Stand entrance.
Eat around Stratford or the Olympic Park, then take one Central line stop to Leyton.
Arrive at Leyton Underground, use the mapped friendly venue if suitable and walk to the ground.
11:30 - arrive in Stratford or Leyton and use a correctly categorised mapped venue.
13:30 - move to Leyton station and walk along the signed stadium route.
13:50 - confirm the East Stand entrance and allow time for ticket and security checks.
17:00 onwards - walk back to Leyton or continue towards Stratford before joining the busiest train queue.
The Birkbeck Tavern is the designated away pub. The Heathcote & Star and Leyton Engineer are mapped as mixed-supporter friendly, the clubhouse is check-first, the Coach & Horses is home-only, and the East Stand concourse is available after entry.
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield Stratford make the obvious pre-match base. The William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow is a quieter cultural option with a short onward bus or rail connection.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 29 September 2026.
