Getting there & parking

The Docherty Walks Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Official matchday parking

King's Lynn Town's September 2026 guide says parking at the stadium is limited and directs supporters to the town-centre multi-storey. Current visiting guidance identifies St James Multi-Storey, PE30 1BT, about five minutes from the ground.

A small number of ground parking passes have recently been sold for £5, but supply, price and away access are fixture-dependent. Buy only through the current club link; accessible bays, coaches and minibuses must be arranged in advance.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in King's Lynn. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

King's Lynn station is only five to seven minutes from the stadium by the signed walk through The Walks park. Great Northern services connect with Cambridge and London King's Cross; check planned engineering work, the return train and the park route after an evening fixture.

By bus or coach

The railway and bus stations sit close together in the town centre, and the short park walk normally makes a local bus unnecessary. Regional services from surrounding West Norfolk can have limited evening frequencies. Visiting coaches should confirm the Gatehouse or stadium arrangement rather than arriving unannounced at Tennyson Road.

Driving

Leave the A47 at Hardwick Roundabout for King's Lynn, follow Hardwick Road and take Tennyson Avenue at the next major roundabout. The stadium approach is residential and parking is limited, so use the booked entrance or continue to a legitimate central car park.

Use PE30 5PB only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around The Docherty Walks Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 3 October 2026.
