Rugby Park is less than a mile south-west of Kilmarnock station. The walk is straightforward, while drivers face restricted stadium access, no general supporter car park and signed matchday traffic controls on nearby streets.
Kilmarnock station is around a 15-minute walk from Rugby Park. ScotRail services connect with Glasgow Central, Ayr, Dumfries and Carlisle, though engineering work can replace sections with buses.
Leave via the town-centre side and walk through Bank Street towards Portland Road and Rugby Road. Check the final return carefully for evening and televised games.
Kilmarnock bus station is close to the railway station and town centre, leaving around a 15-20 minute walk to the stadium.
Away-supporter coaches are normally directed to Burnside Street and Holmquarry Road, around ten minutes away. Operators must follow the visiting club's current instructions rather than approaching Rugby Road.
Kilmarnock is reached via the M77 and A77 from Glasgow, the A71 from Irvine and the A76 from the south. Kilmarnock advises using KA1 1UR, which leads to Dundonald Place and the south entrance.
Rugby Road itself has no stadium access on matchdays. Navigate to a confirmed parking space and expect signed restrictions or temporary cones on the streets immediately around Rugby Park.
Walking back to the station or town centre is usually faster than joining the first road queue. Drivers should allow pedestrians to clear and expect the matchday traffic order to affect the immediate Rugby Road exits.
