Use a mapped check-first venue in the Carfax or East Street area, then take a live-checked bus rather than the narrow walking route.
Park & Ride driver
Use the free RH13 0AR supporter parking while space remains, or reserve a lawful Horsham driveway or managed space for the full event window.
A sensible 3pm plan
11:40 - arrive at Horsham station, the town centre or Hop Oast Park & Ride before peak demand.
12:00-13:15 - eat centrally or use the clubhouse only if the fixture remains shared and visiting access is confirmed.
13:20 - use routes 23 or 98 or walk from the Park & Ride, then check the current turnstile and fan-zone arrangement.
17:00 onwards - join the return bus queue or allow Park & Ride and A24 traffic to clear before leaving.
Food and pubs
The Horsham clubhouse and main bar are the clearest on-site option at routine shared fixtures. The Lynd Cross and Anchor Tap are verified active but remain check-first because neither publishes a permanent away-colours policy; the station and town centre form the recommended wider area.
Things to do
Horsham Museum, the Carfax and Horsham Park suit an early town-centre arrival. Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens is a longer detour requiring separate transport and advance opening checks; always leave enough time for the bus to Hop Oast.
