Getting there & parking

Hornchurch Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

There is no general supporter parking at Hornchurch Stadium or the Abraham Court flats. The on-site car park is reserved for players and officials; the club asks supporters to use public transport.

Street parking is possible on parts of Bridge Avenue and Brookdale Avenue, but enforcement increases on matchdays. Do not block driveways or use yellow lines. A disabled space must be requested from Hornchurch at least 48 hours before kick-off and is at the opposite end from the away entrance.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Upminster. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Upminster Bridge on the District line is the closest station and is roughly a 10-minute walk from Bridge Avenue. Upminster station also has District line, London Overground and c2c services and is around 15-20 minutes away on foot, giving mainline visitors a useful alternative.

By bus or coach

Local buses serve St Mary's Lane and Upminster Road. Visiting coaches cannot park at the stadium or in nearby streets: Hornchurch currently directs them to drop at the published bus stops and continue to Thurrock Services, about a 15-minute drive away.

Driving

From the M25 use Junction 29 and the A127 towards London, then Hall Lane, St Mary's Lane and Bridge Avenue. The stadium sits in residential streets and the new visiting entrance is reached from Abraham Court opposite The Windmill rather than the traditional home entrance.

Use RM14 2LX only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Hornchurch Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 2 October 2026.
