Priestfield sits in a tightly packed residential district about a ten-minute walk from Gillingham station. Permit streets surround the ground, so drivers should use an authorised supporters' car park or reserve a private space rather than searching beside the turnstiles.
Gillingham (Kent) is the practical rail arrival. Southeastern high-speed trains from St Pancras can take about 45 minutes, with conventional services from Victoria and Thameslink options from Blackfriars.
From the station, turn left onto Balmoral Road and follow the signed route towards Priestfield. Check weekend engineering work because replacement buses are common on the Medway routes.
Local buses serve Gillingham town centre and the roads around Priestfield, but the final walk is usually simpler from the station.
Away coaches must set down and collect at Croneens Yard in Railway Street. The club specifically asks coaches not to use Redfern Avenue; the away entrance is about five minutes back along Gillingham Road.
Priestfield is within reach of the M2, A2, Medway Tunnel and A289. Use the postcode supplied by the car-park operator, not only the stadium postcode, because the authorised parking sites have separate entrances.
Balmoral Road, Priestfield Road, Gordon Road, Redfern Avenue and numerous nearby streets are permit-only. Read every sign and do not block residents or emergency access.
The residential roads and station approach become busy immediately after full-time. Walk back to Gillingham station with a realistic connection margin and check platform information before entering the station.
