The New Lawn sits above Nailsworth in the Cotswolds, around four miles from Stroud station. There is no general stadium parking, the final walk is steep and the Saturday park-and-ride does not run for midweek games.
Stroud and Gloucester stations connect with Stagecoach route 63, which serves the stadium. Stroud is the closer rail base; allow time for the walk between station and bus stops.
The published 2026/27 guide warns that the 63 does not run late enough for the return after an evening match, so arrange a taxi or other fallback.
Nailsworth centre is about 1.1 miles from the stadium, but the route climbs throughout. Free town parking has time limits in places, so read signs before leaving the car.
Allow more than the map estimate in poor weather, with children or for supporters with limited mobility.
Use GL6 0FG for orientation, but navigate to the park-and-ride, school field or reserved private space for the final leg. Roads narrow near the top of the hill and can be closed on the busiest matchdays.
Traffic leaving Forest Green and Nailsworth can be slow immediately after full-time.
Park-and-ride buses collect outside the stadium. Drivers and taxis should expect congestion on the hill; rail users need a return plan that does not depend on a late route 63.
