Make a day of it

Plan your Farnborough away day

Farnborough Main and Victoria Road provide the broadest pre-match choice, with route 6 shortening the final leg. A direct-to-ground plan works when the Cherrywood Bar and FanZone are confirmed open, while drivers need an early or pre-booked space.

01

Rail, town and route 6

Arrive at Farnborough Main, use a checked Victoria Road option, then take the number 6 from stop G to Lulworth Close.

02

Direct FanZone plan

Walk or take a taxi to Cherrywood Road and use the Cherrywood Bar or outdoor FanZone only while the current match notice confirms access.

03

Early-arrival driver

Use the first-come club car park at the confirmed price or reserve a private Farnborough space with a realistic walk.

A sensible 3pm plan

11:45 - arrive at Farnborough Main or the parking space selected for the full match window.

12:00-13:20 - eat in the Victoria Road area or travel to the stadium once the confirmed FanZone opens.

13:25 - reach Cherrywood Road, check whether the match is segregated and use the entrance printed for the fixture.

17:00 onwards - return to the route 6 stop or station, or wait for Cherrywood Road and the club car park to clear.

Food and pubs

The Cherrywood Bar and outdoor FanZone were open to both sets of supporters at a current unsegregated fixture. The Tilly Shilling and Prince of Wales are verified active but remain check-first because neither publishes a permanent away-colours policy; Farnborough Main and Victoria Road form the recommended wider area.

Things to do

The Farnborough Air Sciences Trust Museum is the most distinctive local stop when open. St Michael's Abbey and the town centre also suit an early arrival, while the aviation business district and airport are not general visitor attractions.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 7 October 2026.
