Dunfermline works well as a rail day with the historic centre first and a straightforward walk east to East End Park. Drivers can stay near the A92 or M90, but the centre offers the better food and pub choice.

Use Queen Margaret station or a pre-booked parking space and head straight for the East Stand.
Stay overnight
Choose central Dunfermline for the station and evening, or Halbeath for easier road access.
A sensible 3pm plan
11:00 - arrive at Dunfermline City and visit the centre, abbey precinct or Pittencrieff Park.
12:15-13:35 - use East Port Bar, Seven Kings or another venue whose matchday admission you have checked.
13:45 - begin the walk along East Port and Halbeath Road towards the away turnstiles.
17:00 - walk back to the centre or station while the immediate road queue clears.
Food and pubs
East Port Bar and Seven Kings are useful central choices, but neither publishes a permanent away-colours policy. The map therefore keeps both as check-first and marks the centre as the general fallback.
If you have extra time
Dunfermline Abbey, Pittencrieff Park and the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum fit a central itinerary. Check opening hours before travel and leave enough time for the eastward walk to the stadium.
Hotels nearer the stadium
Garvock House Hotel is the closest conventional hotel choice on the east side of the city. Premier Inn Dunfermline at Halbeath is useful for drivers but requires a longer walk, bus or taxi to the ground.
