Clyde's Hamilton home is unusually convenient for Hamilton West and has a dependable all-supporter fanzone. The live gate and released Main Stand sections matter more than the short distance from the station.

Town centre first
Start around Hamilton Central and Quarry Street, then allow 20-25 minutes for the walk north-west.
Park and walk
Use the current Caird Street or Beckford Street arrangement, or a reserved New Douglas Park space with checked access terms.
A sensible 3pm plan
11:45 - arrive at Hamilton West, Hamilton Central or the confirmed parking space.
12:00-13:35 - use the Clyde Fanzone or a checked public venue.
13:40 - confirm whether the fixture uses the Main Door, gates 4-6 or a North Stand route.
14:10 - enter the section printed on the ticket and locate the pitch-level kiosk before it becomes busy.
17:00 - walk to Hamilton West while the Cadzow Avenue and Caird Street traffic clears.
Food and pubs
The Clyde Fanzone has the clearest published all-supporter welcome. The Academical Vaults and Bay Horse are verified current venues but remain check-first, while Hamilton town centre is the recommended broader base.
Things to do
Low Parks Museum and the Palace Grounds fit a Hamilton Central arrival. Strathclyde Country Park and Chatelherault are better for drivers or an overnight trip because they add a separate journey before kick-off.
