By train

Burton-on-Trent station has direct services on the Birmingham-Derby route. The ground is around 1.7 miles north and the walk commonly takes 30-35 minutes.

If using a bus or taxi, leave a margin for traffic on Derby Road and the final approach to Princess Way.

Local buses use the Derby Road corridor between the town centre and the stadium area. Check the current operator timetable and the location of the return stop before kick-off.

Driving

The A38 is the main approach from Derby, Birmingham and the motorway network. Use the junction for Burton North and follow stadium signs, allowing extra time at the Derby Road and Princess Way approaches.

Residential streets around Stretton have parking controls, so arrive with a legitimate parking plan rather than searching close to kick-off.

After the match

Princess Way and Derby Road can queue immediately after the whistle. Walking back towards the centre or waiting briefly before leaving a car park can be more predictable than joining the first traffic surge.
