Make a day of it
Hayes Lane is a suburban ground with little useful turn-up parking. Central Bromley provides the strongest transport, food and pub base before the final walk.
Use the station-area mixed-supporter pubs, then walk 20-25 minutes to the away entrance.
Use The George and approach from the south, checking the live bus or walking route.
Reserve a legitimate town-centre or private space and stay clear of Hayes Lane parking controls.
11:30 - arrive at Bromley South and eat or use a mapped mixed-supporter venue.
13:10 - start the walk or bus leg to Hayes Lane.
13:40 - confirm the away entrance and whether the ticket is for standing or seating.
17:00 onwards - walk back towards Bromley South while vehicle queues clear around Hayes Lane.
Four mapped pubs around Bromley South and Hayes are classed as mixed-supporter friendly. Ravens Bar is home-only, and the segregated away area provides the stadium food-and-drink fallback.
Churchill Theatre and Bromley town centre fit naturally around the rail route. Crystal Palace Park is a worthwhile wider-area stop for an early arrival, but leave enough time for the onward bus or train connection.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 29 September 2026.
