Getting there & parking

Rare Breed Meat Co. Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

The club says adjacent land provides a car park for 150 vehicles, but visitor guidance describes matchday spaces as limited and first-come. An August 2025 guide listed £2 and closure 30 minutes before kick-off; treat both details as dated and reconfirm before driving.

If the club car park is unavailable, use a lawful public car park or a confirmed private space. Do not block homes or businesses around Clockhouse Way, Cressing Road or Stubbs Lane; arrange accessible parking or drop-off with the clubs before travel.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Braintree. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Braintree station is roughly a mile from the stadium. Current visitor guides give 15-20 minutes on foot via Station Approach, Railway Street, Trinovantian Way and Clockhouse Way; allow longer after a busy match and use lit public routes.

By bus or coach

Local services reach Braintree town centre and the rail and bus interchange, leaving a walk to the stadium. Check the live timetable and final service before relying on a bus. Away coaches and minibuses need the fixture-specific drop-off and parking instruction from the clubs.

Driving

From the M11 use Junction 8 and follow the A120 east towards Colchester. At Galley's Corner take Cressing Road, then turn left into Clockhouse Way and follow matchday directions; the small final approach and pedestrian flow make a late arrival difficult.

Use CM7 3RD only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Rare Breed Meat Co. Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 6 October 2026.
