Getting there & parking

St James Park is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Current September 2026 guidance lists limited first-come parking at St James Park for £3.50 per vehicle. Payment method has varied between fixture notices, so carry an alternative and confirm the live instructions rather than relying on a permanent price.

Blue Badge spaces are limited and must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance with the club; they cannot be arranged at the ticket office on the day and are normally held only until 30 minutes before kick-off. Town-centre public parking is the fallback, with the walk to Churchill Way.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Brackley. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Brackley has no railway station. Banbury is the practical rail base, followed by the Stagecoach 500 bus from the bus station to Brackley Market Place or a pre-booked taxi. Check the return timetable before travelling, especially for evening or Sunday fixtures.

By bus or coach

The current Stagecoach 500 links Banbury, Brackley and Bicester and stops around Market Place. From central Brackley allow roughly 18-20 minutes to walk to Churchill Way. Visiting coaches should follow the parking or drop-off instructions issued with the fixture.

Driving

Brackley sits beside the A43, with the M40 at Junction 11 near Banbury. Use the signed Brackley South approach to Churchill Way and expect the short stadium access road and main car park to become congested close to kick-off.

Use NN13 7EJ only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around St James Park to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 1 October 2026.
