The December 2025 visitor guide listed stadium parking at £8 per car, £12 per minibus and £20 per coach, using ANPR and ParkingGood2Go or PayByPhone. Treat these as dated guide prices and check the fixture notice before travel.

Accessible spaces and larger vehicles must be arranged in advance. Do not rely on the retail-park car parks without reading their football-event terms and maximum stays.

By train

Horwich Parkway is beside Middlebrook, roughly five minutes from the stadium. Trains normally connect through Bolton, Manchester or Preston; check the late-evening service and allow for queues on the narrow station approaches after a large match.

By bus or coach

Check the current local timetable for the final leg to Toughsheet Community Stadium. Away coaches and minibuses should follow the instructions issued by the visiting club and must not assume a public parking bay.

Driving

Leave the M61 at Junction 6 and follow signs for Middlebrook and the stadium. The retail park and Burnden Way approaches become congested around kick-off and again when the car parks release.

Use BL6 6JW only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Toughsheet Community Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.
