Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Official matchday parking at Ewood Park is limited and should be arranged in advance. Check the exact entrance because the available car parks sit on different sides of the ground.

Nearby retail and residential parking is controlled; do not assume an open space is valid for football parking.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists pre-bookable private driveways and managed spaces around Ewood Park. Check the walking gradient, whether vehicles can be blocked in and the cancellation terms before booking.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Blackburn station is around a 25-30 minute walk from Ewood Park. Mill Hill is closer, but has a more limited local service, so check connections before relying on it.

Bus and taxi

Frequent local buses use the Bolton Road corridor between the town centre and the stadium area. Services and stops can be altered by matchday traffic.

Driving

Leave the M65 at Junction 4 and follow signs towards Blackburn and Ewood Park. Bolton Road, Livesey Branch Road and the Darwen End approaches become congested close to kick-off.

After the match

Allow time for the pedestrian crowd and road closures around the Darwen End. Walking towards Blackburn or Mill Hill can be quicker than immediately joining the traffic queue.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 10 September 2026.
