Make a day of it
The Emirates is a public-transport away day. The most reliable plan separates the pre-match station from the post-match route and avoids searching for parking inside the event-day zone.
Use the current TfL alternative while Arsenal station is closed, then follow the signed walk to the Clock End.
Use the recommended central area, then take the Piccadilly line towards Finsbury Park or Arsenal when it reopens.
Reserve a legitimate space outside the closures, read the host's access window and walk the final section.
11:30 - arrive at King's Cross, Finsbury Park or another mapped base.
13:15 - move towards Arsenal station and the Clock End approach.
13:40 - check the ticket block, licensed-standing arrangement and entry queue.
17:00 onwards - follow stewarding and use the best of Arsenal, Finsbury Park or Highbury & Islington for the return.
The Hercules is mapped as away-friendly, The Coronet is check-first and King's Cross is the recommended wider base. Twelve Pins, The Tollington, The Plimsoll, The Gunners and The Famous Cock are marked home-only; the Clock End concourse is the ticket-holder fallback.
The Arsenal Museum and stadium tour suit a non-matchday or very early visit. The Regent's Canal, Coal Drops Yard and Granary Square are practical additions if starting at King's Cross.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 3 October 2026.
