By train

Altrincham Interchange is served by rail, Metrolink and buses and is around a 10-to-12-minute walk along Moss Lane. Check the return service because heavy rail is less frequent than the tram.

Driving

From the M56 use Junction 6 or 7 and approach through Hale/Bowdon. The town-centre end of Moss Lane is one-way away from the stadium, so do not attempt to drive towards the ground from Stamford New Road.

Use WA15 8AP only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around J. Davidson Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.
