Make a day of it
The ground lies north of Totton rather than beside the station. Build the day around a confirmed bus, taxi or parking plan and leave enough time to move from the central pub cluster to Salisbury Road.
Use the station and Rumbridge Street area, then take the number 12 towards Calmore and alight on Salisbury Road.
Use The Testwood only after checking admission, then make the short northbound walk to the ground.
Pre-book an on-site or private space, or use the club-named Calmore Industrial Estate overflow without blocking business access.
11:30 - arrive at Totton station or secure the day's confirmed parking arrangement.
11:45-13:20 - use a correctly categorised mapped venue and eat before leaving the centre.
13:25 - take the number 12 or start the final walk to Salisbury Road.
17:00 onwards - allow stadium traffic to clear or use the pre-checked bus and rail connection.
Straker's Bar is mapped as away-friendly only when the match is unsegregated and access is confirmed. The Testwood and Peg & Parrot are verified active but remain check-first, while Totton station and centre form the recommended wider area.
Eling Tide Mill is close to the station and suits an early arrival; Testwood Lakes Nature Reserve is near the ground but has its own opening and access conditions. Southampton's waterfront and city museums require a longer stop and a planned return bus.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 5 October 2026.
