Bournemouth is best built around Boscombe and Pokesdown rather than a last-minute drive into Kings Park. A longer stay can add the seafront, while the mapped pubs provide several established visiting options.

Seafront first
Use Bournemouth centre and the coast early, then allow a full half-hour for the eastbound stadium journey.
Reserved driver route
Book a stadium-specific driveway or managed space and follow the access instructions issued for that booking.
A sensible 3pm plan
10:45-11:15 - arrive at Pokesdown, Bournemouth station or the confirmed private space.
11:30-13:35 - use Boscombe, the town centre or one of the mapped away-friendly venues.
13:40 - follow the current Kings Park pedestrian route to the East Stand entrance.
14:10 - enter early enough for construction diversions and the compact concourse.
17:00 - walk back towards Boscombe or wait before joining the A338 traffic.
Food and pubs
Mello Mello, The Bell, The George Tapps and The Portman are mapped as away-friendly. Queens Park Hotel and the 1910 Supporters Bar are home-only, with the East Stand concourse shown separately.
Things to do
Boscombe beach and pier fit the shortest detour from Pokesdown. Bournemouth seafront, the Lower Gardens and Russell-Cotes Art Gallery suit an earlier arrival from the main station, but protect time for the trip back east to Kings Park.
